Millennium Global International School at SAIMUM NAIROBI 2025, UNITED NATIONS GIGIRI CONFERENCE

From Monday, December 15th to Friday, December 19^th, 2025, our outstanding students proudly represented MILLENNIUM GLOBAL INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL at the most prestigious students delegate conference in Africa and the world at large: the ‘Sub-Saharan Africa International Model United Nations’ (SAIMUN)

The event was held at the Nairobi United Nations Offices. This prestigious conference brought together student delegates from across Africa and beyond, offering a unique platform to experience the real working of the UN.

Our champions were at the top showcasing their skills in varied fields such as:

ACHIEVEMENTS AND AWARDS

Our team stood out in every committee, representing diverse countries with confidence and diplomacy. Their efforts earned three certificates and three medals, a testament to their brilliance:

• Best position paper (2 bronze medals + 2 certificates)

Awarded to delegates with exceptional writing and analytical

skills.

• Most Diplomatic Delegate (1 Silver medal + certificate)

Recognizing the ability to combine leadership, collaboration and persuasive diplomacy.

MGIS was recognized for its magnificent support for student’s talents by being awarded a certificate of recognition from SAIMUN secretariat
