From Monday, December 15th to Friday, December 19th, 2025, our outstanding students proudly represented MILLENNIUM GLOBAL INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL at the most prestigious students delegate conference in Africa and the world at large: the ‘Sub-Saharan Africa International Model United Nations’ (SAIMUN)


The event was held at the Nairobi United Nations Offices. This prestigious conference brought together student delegates from across Africa and beyond, offering a unique platform to experience the real working of the UN.


Our champions were at the top showcasing their skills in varied fields such as:

• Public speaking

Our delegates performance reaffirmed MGIS as the home of champions, as our delegates put other delegates from various schools allover the continent and beyond to hard task challenging their intellectual ability, problem solving skillsand global awareness on current issues affecting the world and innovative solutions to global issues

                         

  

ACHIEVEMENTS AND AWARDS


Our team stood out in every committee, representing diverse countries with confidence and diplomacy. Their efforts earned three certificates and three medals, a testament to their brilliance:


• Best position paper (2 bronze medals + 2 certificates)

Awarded to delegates with exceptional writing and analytical

skills.


 

 

• Most Diplomatic Delegate (1 Silver medal + certificate)

Recognizing the ability to combine leadership, collaboration and persuasive diplomacy.


 

Individual Highlights.

MGIS was recognized for its magnificent support for student’s talents by being awarded a certificate of recognition from SAIMUN secretariat

 

Charis: Honored for his heroic and magic writing and oratory skills, securing a Bronze medal and certificate for Best Position Paper.

Bronze Medal and certificate for Best Position Paper in her Committee

Silver Medal and Certificate for Most Diplomatic delegate in her committee.

Impact and Future Outlook


The SAIMUN experience not only celebrated our student’s achievements but also nurtured their growth as future leaders and global citizens. MGIS remain committed to excel on international stages


We look forward to scooping even more award at the 2026 SAIMUN conferences, which will be hosted in different countries worldwide.

The SAIMUN Nairobi 2025 conference was a resounding success for MGIS. Our delegates demonstrated unmatched skills, resilience and brilliance, bringing honor to the school and setting the stage for even greater accomplishments in the years ahead
