MGIS walks with Gertrude’s Hospital to raise Funds for Cancer

Millennium Global International School Participates in Charity Walk at Uhuru Gardens

Millennium Global International School proudly took part in a meaningful Getrude charity walk held at Uhuru Gardens. The event brought together members of the community to support and raise awareness for children battling cancer while promoting unity, compassion, and healthy living.

Representing the school was 5-year-old pupil Amari King, who enthusiastically joined the activity alongside the teachers. His participation reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing young learners who understand the value of kindness and community involvement from an early age.

The teachers who represented the school at the event included Ms. Stephanie, Ms. Mercy, Ms. Catherine, Mr. Ernest, Ms. Celine, and Ms. Petronila. Together, they demonstrated strong support for the cause and proudly represented the Millennium Global International School community.

During the event, the team participated in the 5-kilometre walk, joining other participants in showing solidarity with children and families affected by cancer. The walk served as both a symbol of hope and a reminder of the importance of community support in addressing health challenges faced by young patients.

Beyond promoting physical wellness, the event provided an opportunity for participants to connect with others who share a commitment to making a positive difference. The presence of teachers and pupils from Millennium Global International School highlighted the institution’s dedication to social responsibility and community engagement.
