Yesterday marked a proud moment for our school at the thrilling Chess Tournament 2025 held at Kilimani Junior Academy — a day filled with strategic battles, nail-biting finishes, and triumphant celebrations!

At the heart of this success story is Mundia Lubasi, whose sheer brilliance and composure on the chessboard earned us an impressive 🥉 3rd Place in the Under-17 category. Mundia’s sharp mind, meticulous planning, and unwavering focus were on full display as he outmaneuvered opponent after opponent with remarkable finesse. His performance not only captivated the crowd but also stood as a shining example of what dedication, practice, and mental discipline can achieve.

Thanks to Mundia’s outstanding individual effort and the collective drive of our entire chess team, we also proudly clinched 🏆 2nd Place for Best Secondary School, a testament to the strength and depth of our players.

The tournament itself was a celebration of intellect and sportsmanship, with intense matches that pushed our students to their limits — and they rose to the challenge with grace and grit.

A huge round of applause goes out to our exceptional coaches, supportive parents, and dedicated teammates, whose encouragement and guidance laid the foundation for this victory.

This triumph is not just a trophy on our shelf — it’s a milestone on our journey. And for Mundia, it’s a clear signal that he is a rising star in the chess world. We can’t wait to see what new heights he will reach next!

Well done, Mundia — you’ve made us incredibly proud! 🥳♟️
