Remembering Loony: A Heart Bigger Than His Paws

Loony was more than just a dog; he was family at Millennium Global International School.

From the moment he became part of our lives, he filled the school with a presence that was impossible to ignore and even harder to replace.

He loved food in the purest way possible. The sound of a wrapper, the clink of a bowl, or even the hint of a meal being prepared would instantly grab his attention. But it wasn’t just about eating, it was the joy, the anticipation, and the simple happiness that came with knowing good things were coming his way.

Loony had a special place in his heart for children. He was gentle, patient, and remarkably intuitive around them. Whether it was playful noise or curious little hands, he stood calm and steady, always protective, always kind. He seemed to understand that children needed a different kind of love, and he gave it freely.

He also adored affection, especially ear scratches. Those quiet moments, when his eyes softened and his body relaxed, were when his contentment was most visible. He loved other pets too, welcoming companionship and sharing space without fuss, as though love was something meant to be multiplied, not guarded.

Protective by nature, Loony took his role seriously. He watched over his people with quiet confidence, never aggressive, but always alert. He was also a big brother to four others—Tanto, Lucky, Toffee, and Tintin—guiding them with patience and care. His presence alone made us feel safe. He didn’t need to bark loudly to prove his loyalty; it was written into everything he did.

Loony passed away at the age of 13, having lived a full and content life. He was deeply loved, well cared for, and surrounded by the people and companions who meant the most to him. Though his time with us has come to an end, the life he lived was rich in love, comfort, and belonging, and that is something we will always be grateful for.

Though Loony is no longer with us, his spirit remains in the memories we hold close, the routines he was part of, the spaces he filled, and the love he left behind. He taught us patience, loyalty, and the quiet power of unconditional love.

Loony will always be remembered, always missed, and forever loved.
