Millennium Global Shines at the Włodzimierz Strzyżewski Ringo Tournament

On 26 September 2026, year 6 students, proudly represented the school at the Włodzimierz Strzyżewski Memorial Ringo Tournament, hosted by St. Austin’s Academy and organised by Kenya Ringo Sports Federation.
The tournament brought together seven schools: St. Austin’s Academy, Moi Educational Centre, Millennium Global International, Kilimani Junior Academy, Kebeneti School, Brookhouse Karen and Runda, and Kestrel Manor, competing across U9, U11, U13 and U15 categories.
Our school team of Tripples, delivered an outstanding performance, demonstrating teamwork, discipline, skill and sportsmanship. The school proudly achieved,
U9 – Millennium Global A: Champions
U9 – Millennium Global B: Runner-up
U11 – Millennium Global: Champions
Beyond the trophies, the tournament provided our learners with valuable opportunities to develop confidence, teamwork, communication, resilience and competitive experience through sport.
Millennium Global students had the opportunity to meet and learn from prominent figures in the sporting community:
• Mr. Francis Juma — President, Kenya Ringo Sports. Students discussed Ringo’s growth in schools, pathways for young players, and the importance of fair play and safe practice.
• Mr. David Weru — President, International Mini Games (STEM and Arts). Mr. Weru shared perspectives on integrating sports with broader educational initiatives, including STEM and the arts, and how multi-disciplinary events create richer development opportunities for students.
• Mr. David Kimotho — Head of Extra-Curricular, Potterhouse School. Mr. Kimotho spoke about equipping students through sporting discipline, daily training routines, and how extra-curricular leadership builds character and school-community connections.
These conversations reinforced the value of sports as a vehicle for personal growth, cross-curricular learning, and long-term talent development. The sports department, sincerely thank Millennium Global management, teachers, coaches and parents for supporting our young athletes.
Congratulations to our Year 6 students for representing the school with pride!
MR. GILBERT KIPROP
